Jean's Field is a small and friendly campsite in the pretty Yorkshire Dales village of Cracoe, Nr. Skipton.
A 'campsite that doesn't feel like a campsite', and all the more lovely for it.
Jean's Field is a privileged location to stay where ordinarily this would be out of the question.
*Open until 31 August 2025*
Due to our temporary nature facilities are basic; clean portaloos and a shower tent.
We do not seek the hairdryer brigade, instead a quiet, appreciative atmosphere for proper pilgrims.
Generous 10x 10m grass pitches.
Campervans and small motorhomes are accepted.

Jean's Field was a great choice for our first camping experience, not too big and crowded, really big pitches and although the facilities were small, just 2 toilets and a tent shower, they were immaculately clean

Friendly owner who even showed us around the nearby fells! Just a quick drive or bus to Skipton. Nice pub with beer garden a minute's walk away, same for tea rooms, good butcher for BBQ's, and small garden centre (just across the road). Easy to get to, but feels away from it all. Will visit again!

Great location and a quiet, simple, old school camping experience. Perfect for me.
