This is the last weekend of 2024 at Jean's Field. Today the sun is out and the glorious green landscape of the Dales is once again on stage, shining. Thank you to everyone that has visited us. Without you I wouldn't be able to deliver this little piece of timeless Yorkshire. As the days are about to get much shorter I am looking forward to the future and the sunshine ahead. Be sure to 'turn your face towards the sunshine and let the shadows fall behind you'. Make your own sunshine, then come again next year to Jean's Field and recharge. Wishing you all the very best. THANK YOU. Andrew Carr

''What would Freddie say?!'
Often said by Jean when watching the cricket or talking on local matters. Of course, referring to local legend, 'Fiery' Fred Trueman, Yorkshire and England cricketer of the 1950s & 1960s who lived nearby at Flasby.
Andrew recalls receiving a friendly wave as he was walking Sharphaw just before Freddie died.
You can see a sculpture of Freddie in full flow at the Canal Basin, Skipton.
In memory of Jean Peacock, a fine Dales woman who I am proud to have known and who continues to inspire the best qualities in Jean's Field:
A strong character and generosity of spirit

'Thank you for trusting me with you and your family's holiday.
It's a special honour'

Jean loved to tire out her neighbours' dogs. This was Honey, a favourite of hers.
We love dogs too!
Please keep them on a lead at all times and within your pitch.
Complimentary dog bags are available at the main gate.
Got to mention the cricket, it is Yorkshire!!
