''What would Freddie say?!'
Often said by Jean when watching the cricket or talking on local matters. Of course, referring to local legend, 'Fiery' Fred Trueman, Yorkshire and England cricketer of the 1950s & 1960s who lived nearby at Flasby.
Andrew recalls receiving a friendly wave as he was walking Sharphaw just before Freddie died.
You can see a sculpture of Freddie in full flow at the Canal Basin, Skipton.

Jean loved to tire out her neighbours' dogs. This was Honey, a favourite of hers.
We love dogs too!
